At the End of the Day...

At the end of the day, that is the time for reflection; hopefully, we have acted with valor, integrity, and honour.

Christ in Christmas

It just occurred to me that lately, I have been thinking off and on about a problem. The problem is that someone seems to be trying to remove the Christ or the Christmas from the holiday season. But who is the true culprit? I have read articles and listened to people arguing the reasons behind the action. I have come to the conclusion that it is not the liberal media that is the true culprit; the true culprit is we the people. We have acquiesced without even being pressured. We are so acclimated to giving in on matters of political correctness that we gave up without fighting a battle. How tragic. How sad. We chose to celebrate the birth of the King. We were not ordered to celebrate this day; we chose to as a people called Christians. We founded this country and established traditions. Now, we are being taken over. All our universities have been taken over by the liberal element. Our public schools have been taken over by the liberal element. Our governments and media have been taken over by the liberal element in our society. They have done this by telling us that by believing we are not thoughtful; by choosing God, we are not independent; by following the dictates of Scripture, we are not tolerant; by accepting the Sovereignty of God, we are not sophisticated. Yet, those are the very precepts by which this great nation was founded. We started those universities, schools, and governments. My advice is to tell all Christians that they must stand on the precepts of Christianity that made this country and the history, of all those who have believed God and enjoyed a relationship with Him, great! Remember that Christ is the reason for the season, and if the liberal heathen does not want to observe our holiday, they have the choice not observe it. We do not observe the religious holidays of other religious groups; we do not try to dictate how they celebrate them and which greeting they use to express themselves during their holiday seasons. So stop caving. Be proud of who you are and where you came from. Remember those who have gone before you. Be mighty men and women of God and stand firm. Remember that our God is bigger than even giants!
